Class Act is a community theatre company, established in 2014 by Chepstow Director Louise Best.

Our Mission is to provide everyone in Chepstow and the surrounding area the opportunity to take part in and learn about the Creative Arts.

We endeavour to give people the experience of taking part in live performance, working as a team, learning new skills and making friends.

We invite anyone with an interest in the creative arts to take part without the need for previous experience or an audition process.

Acting Classes for Young People and Actors, teaching a variety of skills and working towards LAMDA accredited exams (exams optional). Taught by our highly experienced LAMDA tutors, you are sure to learn plenty about yourself and about acting.

  • I joined Class Act in 2024 with no prior acting experience other than a school production of Les Mis where I played 'Sailor Number 4'. I joined with the hope of building my confidence on stage; I've got so much more than that! I've made amazing friends and Louise has helped me develop my acting skills in so many ways; I can't thank her enough! It has been a joy, rehearsing and performing. I have just finished a performance as the lead role in Present Laughter (never in a million years did I think I could deliver a lead performance on stage).
