We are an amateur theatre company, established in 2014 by Chepstow director Louise Best. The company is divided into several sections: adult Amateur Dramatics (Class Act) - including musicals (CAMT), childrens Amateur Dramatics (Class Act Academy) and childrens Musical Youth Theatre (CMYT).
We have quickly established a reputation for high quality, entertaining productions and each group usually performs 2 or 3 large productions each year, as well as many smaller supporting roles.
Our fantastic acting group have performed plays ranging from Shakespeare to established classics and more modern works, our Musical Theatre adults have performed 2 wonderful shows and our talented children perform a little bit of everything!
Above all, we work hard and have a lot of fun doing it. We allow individuality to shine through, whilst nurturing and enhancing the natural talents all of our performers, young and old.
Our Mission is to provide the opportunity for all children and adults in Chepstow and the surrounding areas to learn about and take part in Music, Musical Theatre, Dance and Drama. It is also to give the experience of taking part in live performance, working as a team, learning new skills and making friends. Finally, it is to invite anyone with an interest to take part without audition or previous experience.
